The first step in our pastoral transition is starting now :-) 

A pastoral transition can be a hard time. It is also an excellent time for the congregation to gain a new sense of hope, purpose, and direction. I'm praying that Peace becames an even greater group of believers where God is at work. 

We want as many people as possible to participate in this transition and hope that you will join in. Please let us know how we can help you participate. 

Key people to help us navigate this transition are 

  • Mr Josh Gower congregational president
  • Mr Terry Brower elder and the point person for the calling process

Both these men will be happy to talk to you and help you answer any questions you might have. 

We've got a couple of key items to get at right away and we want to address them this coming Sunday, April 12th following service (10:45 am). 

  • We're going to overview the transition process and answer any questions. 
  • We want input regarding the next pastor at Peace. We'll do that through conversation and the attached survey (available in Word or PDF). We'll go through it together on Sunday April 12th and be happy to help you answer any questions.  You can also fill it out on your own and email it to church@peaceotsego.org 
  • We need to decide if we want an administrator to help Peace do ministry during the interim. 
  • We need to thoroughly discuss and seek a consensus if we want to ask for a new graduate to serve at Peace. That is a special call. 
  • We'll discuss who could serve the vacancy at Peace. 

Thank you for being part of God's people at Peace. You make this place everything that it is, and you will continue to make it a place for all of God's people.
