We've updated our website in order to simplify it and update the appearance. 

For now, I’m in a testing and feedback phase. If there are things that need to be changed or aren’t working, please let me know. I'll be happy to change them. 

This is something that is easy to roll back. If it doesn’t work in the next few months, we can switch back. 

There are many reasons for this change. Some of them include:

  1. Cost - the old site cost $276 annually, new site costs $228 with the benefit that it integrates with our current church management software
  2. Integration - the new church management software is from the same supplier as our church management software and add some integration
  3. Focus - The old site was provided by a company that primary focused on businesses. It offered up to date functions that serves businesses. It might be really good for some churches. The new company focuses on churches and has functions for churches.
  4. Ease of setup (backend) - the old site needed more tech competency to set up. The new set is a basic set up.
  5. Easier front end use - simpler structure of “about” “events” “news” to keep things basic.
  6. Updated appearance - The older site needed a rebuild and it was time for an update. 

A website is a front door to the people around us and a front room for us to stand in. We hope it serves you well as you live with the people of Peace!
