DESCRIPTION:Dear friends of Peace\,\nNews Edition For Sunday of July\, 12 2
 026\nLessons this week:  Isaiah 55:6-1\, 1 Corinthians 3: 5-11\, Matthew

r Word Is Cast”\, "God’s Word is Our Great Heritage”\nService Sunday
11:30 am\nWhat Makes Christians Different?\nThe Bible says Christians are
different. Christians are people who believe in Jesus as their Savior. Bu
t they often look the same as those who do not believe in Jesus. How are C
hristians different? The answer is often something internal\, attitudes or
perspectives that come only from the work of the Holy Spirit in Word and
sacrament. Ultimately\, Christians are people who run to Christ for forgiv
eness because they have failed to live perfect lives. As we receive the me
rcy of Christ\, it moves us to strive with all our being to do all the thi
ngs\nthat Jesus says Christians do\, things that make Christians different
.\n \nChristians Are Planted by the Word\nPlanting seeds by hand can be e
xtraordinary. In your hand\, the seed looks lifeless and insignificant. Yo
u put the seed into the soil\, and suddenly\, all by itself\, the seed ger
minates and sprouts and reaches to the sun. Except when it doesn’t! Plan
t multiple seeds\, and often only some will grow. The Bible describes Chri
stians as planted by the Word. Why do some people grow in faith\, and not
others? What makes Christians different? The Bible describes the supernatu
ral process by which God calls people to faith through the gospel. He prom
ises that his Word always accomplishes his purpose. It is powerful all on
its own\, without our help. As we grow in faith\, we give God thanks for t
he miracle of his work in our lives.\n\n\n\nCall Meeting Update:  As of J
uly 5th\, 2026 Pastor Paul Fritz has returned our call. He was grateful to
